Client: Geneva Park District
Location: Geneva, IL
Project Scope: Restoration Planning, Vegetation Monitoring and Reporting

Peck Farm Park Restoration Planning and Vegetation Monitoring Conducted the conceptual design, design development and completion of full bidding documents for Geneva Park District’s Peck Farm newly phased 36 acre park. Initial work included converting the existing agricultural field to prairie on the Miller Parcel and a mix of prairie, wet prairie, and savanna eco-types on the Thompson Parcel.  We provided follow-up vegetative monitoring and reporting to ensure performance criteria were satisfied prior to acceptance. The project was installed in the spring of 2009 resulting from appropriate planning, specification development, and performance criteria it developed into a high-quality, fairly weed-free prairie by the third growing season. This is one of the only prairie restoration projects we know of that could be seen from space!
